Kudos to Boy George, whom Andrea Peyser rightly praised for his haunting track, “We Will Dance Again,” memorializing the Oct. 7 Nova Music Festival victims (“Mensches,” PostOpinion, Aug. 10).
Also to John Ondrasik, for his “Superman” rewrite honoring Hamas’ hostages, and Sen. John Fetterman, now a lone Democratic Party tribune. However canceled and shunned, they are going to be honored again, as soon as the present, irrational antisemitic fever lastly breaks.

AOC’s well-known eggs
If “all publicity is good publicity,” New York’s media creation Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez leads the way in which (“AOC’s a bit ova the top,” Aug. 10).
Instead of a two-page unfold within the paper, maybe the media ought to dedicate a sentence or two to her legislative accomplishments, apart from chasing Amazon’s 20,000 jobs to different states. One wonders if AOC’s frozen eggs are the DSA’s version of “The Boys From Brazil.”

Protect our youngsters
Rep. Mike Lawler’s heart-tugging story of Jessica Gorman, whose daughter Sheridan was the sufferer of somebody who didn’t belong within the nation, was food for thought (“Protect Killers?,” PostOpinion, Aug. 11).
When Gorman pleaded with Gov. Hochul to change her absurd law that prohibits native police from cooperating with ICE, she was turned away.
Gorman might have been dismissed by the governor, however now could be the time for her to take her story to the people, and come November, each guardian can defend their kids by voting Hochul out.

With over 150,000 Haitian immigrants residing, working and contributing to the benefit of all in New York City, racist-in-chief President Trump says they have to now pack up and go away (“Zo can’t aid axed Haitians,” Aug. 11).
If Trump and his MAGA base are nonetheless dumb enough to consider that Haitians really eat cats and canines, the incorrect people are being deported.

Work more durable, Prez
President Trump must change his messaging with respect to the impression of the Iran hostilities on the American public (“Tehran is losing grip on Hormuz,” Aug. 13).
Iran is hundreds of miles away and we don’t see something within the information besides Trump and Tehran trading insults every day. What we do see is sticker shock on the fuel station.
Trump must work more durable to get fuel costs down and talk his efforts to us. Telling us how good the economic system is and that the stock market is great gained’t be enough to sway voters come November.

Reparations Q&A
I discover it ironic that the majority of the states contemplating reparations for slavery are blue states (“Reparation Complication,” Howard Husock, Postscript, Aug. 9).
Meanwhile, none of the deep-red former slave states of the Antebellum South, which held thousands and thousands in bondage, are contemplating reparations for slavery or for the mistreatment of African-Americans within the Jim Crow period.
And how many African-Americans can really hint their household tree back to slaves held in New York state 200 or more years in the past? Should anybody be entitled to reparations even when they don’t reside in New York?
