Richard Childress Racing has formally spoken out after Jesse Love switched to Wood Brothers Racing for the 2027 NASCAR season.
The 21-year-old is set to take up the No. 21 seat with Wood Brothers Racing for the 2027 Cup Series season, having made seven Cup Series appearances over the course of the final two seasons. He will make his debut for Wood Brothers Racing on the 2027 Daytona 500.
Love compiled three NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series victories, a championship, and a number of pole positions driving the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing. The crew launched a statement following his exit, praising his time and success with them.
