Times Square is getting a new Rosa Mexicano restaurant that’s slated to open in September.
It would be the beloved hotspot’s tenth location and its fourth in the Big Apple — and can embody a new taqueria idea within its doorways: The Pink Door by Rosa Mexicano. The upcoming launch comes 42 years after its initial opening by Lincoln Center in 1984.
“It’s a natural next chapter for us,” says Rosa Mexicano’s CEO Rich Zoob.
The eatery, at 120 W. forty fifth St. at Broadway by Times Square, is 2,800 sq. toes with 107 seats. It will function their famed, basic menu: tableside guacamole, tacos, enchiladas and fajitas. The eatery will retain its look together with the unique “divers wall,” a two-story iridescent blue tile wall designed by David Rockwell and impressed by the cliff divers of Acapulco. The wall is eighteen toes large and over 6 toes tall.
The Pink Door by Rosa Mexicano, within the space, will likely be a first for the model. It will embody 57 seats for eating and to-go choices together with frozen margaritas and different cocktails.
