Like these of the socialist “Squad” member, my immigrant dad and mom sought new life and alternative on the fringes of this great metropolis.
And that’s the place the commonality begins and ends.

Only people who grew up so privileged can take all of it without any consideration. For Sandy Cortez and Zohran Mamdani, who additionally comes from a well-off background, it’s all a entrance. Do they actually converse for the downtrodden? Do they actually know what they need?
The people of the Bronx need a hand up, not a handout, and definitely not the patronizing socialism of these poseurs.
