Sick silence on Iran
The silence is deafening; hundreds and hundreds of harmless males, girls and kids are being slaughtered in Iran (“36K ‘slain’ in protest crackdown,” Jan. 26).
Hundreds of hundreds have been injured. The day by day horrific inhumanity is world information, and but not one group on faculty campuses, in Hollywood or on the streets of US cities appear to be outraged.
Why are they not vehemently protesting to avoid wasting harmless people in Iran and stop the massacres? For that matter, has the United Nations gone completely deaf, dumb and blind?

Zo’s uphill battle
Joe Borelli is spot on concerning property tax inequities in New York City (“Mamdani’s Mountain,” Postscript Jan. 25).

Since Mayor Mamdani owes his election largely to the robust assist he has acquired from these progressive enclaves, I’m skeptical he’ll do more to rock the boat than his predecessors over a property tax system that has favored the rich over the working class for a few years now, his Marxist credentials however.

Ken Jennings’ TDS
A bit nonsense from the actress of “Parent Trap” saying “What the hell” on Jeopardy! is nothing in comparison with the vile rhetoric host Ken Jennings has spouted about President Trump (“Trouble ‘Jeopardy!’ ” Jan. 28).
His half-ass mea culpas about every part he has mentioned about conservatives and Trump is phony as he’s. I, for one, won’t ever watch Jeopardy! again, sadly, however tuning out these spineless idiots is simple.

Hateful nurses
We are witnessing each a unhappy and scary day in America when there are health-care professionals who could deliberately hinder our remedy because of variations in political opinion, race, faith or in any other case (“Nursing hate on the left,” Kirsten Fleming, Jan. 27).
