Socialism is what makes Mamdani toxic – Latest News
Can varied righties please give up raging about how Zohran Mamdani is a closet Islamist?
There’s no scarcity of actual causes to oppose his marketing campaign for mayor: His resume is tissue-thin, he performs footsy with rabid Jew-haters, and his financial plans would destroy our metropolis’s prosperity.
But that’s as a result of he subscribes to an elitist, campus-cultured socialism — not as a result of he’s a Muslim, not to mention of the acute fundamentalist selection.
Islamists search to create a international caliphate and convert the world by the sword. Mamdani exhibits no signal of curiosity in something like that.
At most, he’s about radical anticolonial politics: His dad is a main scholar and advocate of that motion.
This model of anti-Western politics is discovered all through the Third World; cool-kid lefties on Western campuses have been eating it up for many years now.
And central casting couldn’t produce a better-looking candidate to win the cheers of that Millennial hipster crowd than Zohran Mamdani.
Even his script is tailor-made to those pissed off faculty grads, so satisfied that their high rents ally them with the wretched of the earth.
(Never thoughts that each one his shallow socialist guarantees solely work whereas he’s looking for workplace — successful is all the things for his workforce now.)

Yes, Mamdani’s household, heritage and id are Muslim — like 800,000 different New Yorkers’. But it’s not what makes him toxic.
Harping on his religion is worse than a distraction — it bolsters his marketing campaign by letting him cry “Islamophobia” and play the sufferer.
Keep the deal with what he clearly is, and why he means catastrophe for town.
