Target is stepping up store staffing, but eliminating about 500 jobs in distribution facilities and regional places of work, CNBC reported Monday citing an inside memo.
The company will scale back the quantity of store districts — the geographic areas that its practically 2,000 shops are damaged into, which have devoted staffing — and put money towards more hours for frontline store employees, the report stated.
Target stated it was making modifications to the way in which it runs and oversees shops to improve the client expertise, a high purpose of new CEO, Michael Fiddelke, the report added.
