Target recalls 200,000 children’s sandals over – Business News
Target is recalling more than 200,000 kids’s sandals over the potential risk of “serious injury or death” from a choking hazard.
About 211,000 Cat & Jack Toddler Girls’ Sequerah Sandals are affected by the recall, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) introduced Thursday.
The choking hazard concern is due to the risk of ornamental pearls falling off the sneakers.
“The sandals’ decorative pearls can fall off, posing a risk of serious injury or death from a choking hazard,” the CPSC stated.
The sandals are tan and have two raffia straps with gold buckles and plastic pearls. The model title is printed on the soles and bottoms of the sneakers.
The sneakers have been bought in sizes 5T by means of 12T.
The sandals have been bought at Target shops throughout the nation and online on the retailer’s web site from January 2026 by means of May 2026 for about $20.
Target has acquired 23 stories of pearls falling off the sneakers.
