Lewis Hamilton has unveiled a new coiffure, stunning followers with a noticeably completely different look forward of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Hamilton has been noticed sporting a relaxed new look in Barcelona, with the seven-time Formula 1 world champion letting his hair down for the race weekend. After a video was shared by Ferrari on X, many followers praised the F1 star’s relaxed fashion.

“Class, confidence, swagger, and peak performance. This is the Lewis we love and the haters love to hate. The GOAT is really back!” stated one fan. Another person added: “Lewis Rupunzelmilton needs to let down his hair more often, he’s been gatekeeping.”

A 3rd fan stated: “Italian talking, the curls, the fit, the everything. I’m overwhelmed (I wanna see those curls way more often Lewis, suit you SO WELL).”

While a fourth user added: “Sir Lewis Hamilton arrived in Barcelona for media day with his hair out… yeah, he came to SERVE.”

Hamilton heads into the Spanish Grand Prix weekend fresh off a second-place finish in Monaco, as he continues his strong run of form in the championship battle. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli emerged from a chaotic race that included two safety car periods and a red flag restart to extend his championship lead to 66 points, with Hamilton currently sitting second ahead of his former teammate George Russell.

However, the seven-time world champion will face a slight adjustment this weekend, as team regulations require him to hand over his car to a reserve or junior driver during practice sessions on two separate occasions this season.

Sweden’s Dino Beganovic, a long-time member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, will get his opportunity this weekend as he steps into the spotlight for a practice session, aiming to make an impression on the Formula 1 stage.

“My aim is to do the job the team requires of me, provide useful feedback, and adapt to the car as much as possible,” Beganovic said. “If I can do that, it will be a positive session for the whole team and hopefully an enjoyable one for me too.”

Hamilton, meanwhile, has said he “couldn’t be closer” to securing his first Grand Prix victory for Ferrari, as he continues what he describes as his strongest run of form since joining the Italian outfit. Asked after the Monaco Grand Prix how close he feels to securing a first win for Ferrari, Hamilton, who holds the all-time Formula 1 record with 105 victories, said: “I imply, it could not be nearer. But it is nonetheless 66 factors. I can not consider that I’m second within the championship and I’m actually glad and grateful for that.”

Hamilton added: “He (Antonelli) is doing a phenomenal job. He’s bought an wonderful workforce round him with Bono, with Toto and the entire workforce. And I’m actually glad to see them doing what they do best. And then for him on this second to be delivering on the extent that he is delivering at, it is superior to see.

“It just encourages me to want to level up, and I think encourages everybody wanting to level up. And he’s only 19, so just imagine what the future holds for him. But I’m going to do my best to try and chase him down for the rest of the year. And as I said, just really, it’s a real privilege to witness it, be on the podium with two of the youngest guys here. Very much kind of remind me of me when I was back in 2007.”
