Astronomer slams ‘pretend’ Andy Byron apology after – Business News

The tech firm home to CEO Andy Byron and his alleged HR mistress – who have been caught cozying up on a “kiss cam” at a Coldplay live performance – has rapidly refuted a pretend apology going viral online.

New York-based AI firm Astronomer informed The Post that the assertion circulating on social media – which claimed to be written by Byron himself with intimate apologies to his spouse and youngsters – is “fake.”

The imposter assertion took a somber tone however ended with a tacky nod to Coldplay’s 2005 hit “Fix You”: “As a friend once sang: ‘Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you.’”

The fake assertion rapidly gained traction online.

Neither Byron nor Kristin Cabot, the company’s chief human sources officer, have spoken publicly in regards to the Coldplay scandal – when they have been caught in a loving embrace on the live performance “kiss cam.”

Byron fairly actually ducked out of body whereas Cabot lined her face and rotated, placing her back towards the digicam.

Chris Martin, the band’s frontman, initially thought the digicam had discovered a candy second, saying: “Look at these two.”

But their panicked response quickly had him speculating on a a lot much less savory state of affairs.

“Oh, what?” Martin might be heard saying on stage in a TikTok video that has racked up more than 50 million views and over 5 million likes.

“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin quipped.

The fake assertion posted late Thursday rapidly gained traction on social media, with many customers tearing into the pretend Byron.

“I also want to express how troubling it is that what should have been a private moment became public without my consent,” the solid assertion mentioned.

“I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else’s life into a spectacle.”

A social media consumer on X identified fishy habits from the account that posted the so-called assertion.

“The ‘statement from Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’ that’s going around originated with a 50-follower account called ‘Peter Enis.’ As in ‘P. Enis,’” the consumer wrote.

That account had included “CBS News” in its username, seemingly attempting to pose as a reporter for the Tiffany Network.

The company has not posted on its social media accounts for the reason that scandal made headlines on Wednesday.

Astronomer didn’t reply to inquiries about whether or not it was planning to problem a assertion on the matter.
