Drivers are being urged to fill up their car with petrol or diesel earlier than Friday as Storm Claudia brings extreme downpours with potential flooding and a ‘danger to life’ warning being issued for components of the UK.
The Met Office is warning drivers not to journey if they will keep away from it, thanks to heavy rain from noon on Friday. The forecaster issued an amber climate warning for 12 hours affecting the Midlands space of England in addition to south Wales.

“Listen out for local news bulletins to keep up-to-date with road closures, flooding and forecasts.
“Carry a mobile phone in case you encounter any difficulties during your journey.”
