Illegal immigrants promoting illegal counterfeits have been cleared from Canal Street — however to New York City Council Member Justin Brannan, I’m the issue.

Two days earlier than the raid, a video I posted within the space went viral.

Brannan was livid, labeling me a “far-right poverty tourist.”

No, I’m a one that cares in regards to the high quality of life on this metropolis.

A quick look into the 9 migrants who have been arrested on Tuesday will show that these weren’t merely street distributors.

They are in reality tied to crimes reminiscent of drug trafficking, theft, forgery, possession of medicine, housebreaking, assaulting law enforcement, counterfeiting and home violence.

They crowd the sidewalks, undercut professional business house owners and harass vacationers and locals.

These aren’t people battling poverty, as Brannan claims.

Nor are they valiant “street vendors,” as Zohran Mamdani says.

They are con artists and so they make our streets more harmful.

NYC the epicenter

New York has been the epicenter of America’s illegal-immigration disaster.

Since 2022 roughly 220,000 illegal immigrants have made their technique to New York City, costing taxpayers upwards of $7 billion because the disaster started.

I’ve watched these migrants obtain free lodge rooms in Times Square, free airplane tickets to journey throughout the US and free MetroCards, food and medical care, whereas homeless New Yorkers sleep on the streets.

The actuality is, New York’s illegal-immigration disaster continues to be one of the worst within the nation, and Canal Street is the symptom of a bigger challenge.

I believe most New Yorkers are joyful to see their streets lastly getting cleaned up and are persevering with to push for primary law and order on the streets of their metropolis.

It’s the politicians who’re out of contact.
