NASCAR introduced it has indefinitely suspended a member of Michael Jordan’s 23XI Racing crew.

On Wednesday, NASCAR revealed that 23XI senior account supervisor Evanna Howell was dismissed for the foreseeable future for violating Behavioral Sections 4.4 A. The announcement comes days after Kyle Larson make clear the touching gesture that Jordan did for him.

According to the portion of the rulebook Howell has been suspended for violating, conduct that would end in fines, factors reductions, suspension or membership revocation embrace: “Actions by a NASCAR member that NASCAR finds to be detrimental to Stock Car racing or NASCAR. NASCAR Member-to-NASCAR Member confrontations with physical violence (e.g., striking another Competitor) and other violent manifestations such as significant threats and/or abuse and/or endangerment. Multiple violations of the code of conduct.

“Selling Single Event Credentials (SECs) (garage and pit passes, essential worker passes, etc.). Being charged with or convicted of significant criminal violations (e.g., domestic violence, trafficking, assault) or having had determinations rendered by criminal or civil authorities that in NASCAR’s judgement, necessitate action.

“NASCAR will not pre-judge guilt or innocence in the criminal or civil legal system, or the guilt or innocence of the NASCAR member, but rather review each matter in its own context and circumstances and with regards to its potential effects on the sport,” the rulebook later outlined. “Violations of the Sports Gambling Policy. Failure to self-report any arrest.”

Howell’s suspension was included amongst penalties introduced by NASCAR after the Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, with 4 crew members from elsewhere for racing incidents.

Taking to social media, motorsport followers brazenly questioned who Howell is and what she would possibly’ve achieved to warrant such a severe penalty. “Who tf Evanna Howell and what did she do??” one X person wrote, with one other including: “Any info on Evanna Howell?” A 3rd chimed in, “What the hell did Evanna do?”

According to her LinkedIn web page, Howell has labored at 23XI for the previous 4 years and 7 months after first beginning out as an account supervisor in November 2021.
