Oscar De La Hoya didn’t maintain back on what he thought of Dana White’s new boxing promotion. 

The UFC boss made waves after saying he had teamed up with Turki Alalshikh to create a new promotion meant to rival present mainstays within the sport. With his criticisms of boxing aplenty, White’s new enterprise is set to offer followers with fights they “want to see” because the promotion shall be run much like how the MMA boss runs UFC. 

With White embarking on a new journey, De La Hoya criticized what the 55-year-old was making an attempt to do. In explicit, the boxing legend known as White a “scumbag” in a current video the place he talks in regards to the UFC boss’ new promotion with Alalshikh.

“You cannot run a boxing group when you haven’t any fighters. And proper now, TKO and Dana have zero fighters. “I think Dana has a great spot [in MMA] where you can control the fighter, the commercial, everything. You have to do what you’re told. That’s not really going to work in boxing. Also, fighters are drastically overpaid in boxing and the margins in MMA are different, so it’s going to be interesting.”
