That has been our core strategy since the end of the Cold War,” he mentioned. “[In Ukraine], we went through 10 years of production in 10 weeks of fighting. That should have been a five-alarm fire where we fired up the forges, started rebuilding the arsenal of freedom.”
His imaginative and prescient calls for a full reimagining of American manufacturing capability. “I want more than 10 times more of the equipment that we have,” he mentioned. “That’s going to force you to reimagine all your constraints.”
The stakes couldn’t be greater, and it’s not simply in regards to the protection sector.
