Rather than focus only on his most recent form, Dickerson considered Suarez’s consistency across his five years with Trackhouse when making his decision. It could have backfired, but it hasn’t, and now Suarez and Spire have proven to be a great match that will continue beyond 2026.
Driving the No. 7 Chevrolet for his new team, Suarez has not only made his value known through results – which include a race victory, two top-fives, and six top-10s – but as a valuable presence alongside teammates Carson Hocevar and Michael McDowell.
Both Suarez (11th) and Hocevar (fifth) are in great position to make The Chase and give Spire two playoff hopefuls throughout the 10-race postseason, which begins on Sept. 6 at Darlington Raceway.
