Republican Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas on Friday ripped FCC Chairman Brendan Carr over his assaults on Jimmy Kimmel — likening the regulator to a Mafia boss.

ABC on Wednesday mentioned it was suspending Kimmel “indefinitely” after he falsely claimed that Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer was a MAGA conservative.

President Trump – who cheered Kimmel’s suspension – mentioned Thursday that the US authorities would possibly begin revoking broadcast licenses from networks which can be principally “against” him.
