“So, I think for us, we needed a change and just trying to have the best shot we can at winning this weekend.”
Unfortunately for Bowman, whereas he did finish up crossing the road in a stable eighth place, it wasn’t enough for him to make the cut for the Round of 12, ending thirteenth within the driver’s standings.
Bowman now enters a new season in what’s the final 12 months of his contract as the one Hendrick driver to not have received a minimum of two races final season.
