Discovering the write stuff
Besides the trove of letters I’d burn — then stuff the ashes up Crapdami — I’d prefer to reprint some.
From Belle Harbor: “I’ve read you for years. No words to describe how wonderful is its history, glamour and NY glimpses. And I love you mentioning famous face Dr. Dan Baker who was my surgeon in Vietnam” . . . Lorraine from Midtown: “An actress, I follow you. You’re the reason I subscribe to the NY Post” . . . Elaine from Center Moriches: “I’m a longtime fan. Love your column. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading.”
Rose from Carmel: “Bless you. You are a beloved person — so God bless from my heart” . . . Diplomat James Patterson: “I’d enjoy meeting you in DC. It’s safe now with President Trump in firm control” . . . Jim from Maine: “Bless you for always remembering your mother” . . . Lodi, NJ’s Sally: “Please help the horses in NY.” Yeah. OK. But first let’s help the asses in DC.
Brodsky from California: “You’re part of my life. I came to the US in ’95, bought a computer and it’s you who helped me learn English” . . . Robert writes: “I’m a devoted reader for years.” Oh, thanks. Also due to Staten Island’s non physician Chuck, who sends a checklist of medicines we should always take to remain healthy. And there’s Brookhaven’s legal professional Kerins: “Your wit is remarkable.” And an animal lover whose title’s blurred desires me to help animals. Yeah, OK. But first let’s save our legislators.
Going postal
Understand, the nasties that begin “Dear Stupid,” I’m not together with. Why? Because I’m not that silly.
NYC’s Eugene: “Hold on. Your columns are wise, knowledgeable and funny” . . . Connecticut’s Pat and Long Island’s Rhonda despatched loving birthday playing cards. Sarasota’s Jacqueline: “Your column’s the best of reading the NY Post.” Lombardi from the identical city: “Keep writing your interesting funny columns” . . . Angie from far-off Pasadena: “Just to say thanks for all the enjoyment you and your column have given me.”
Noteworthy
WAIT, there’s more. Jim from Chicago: “Glad you’re up and at ’em. Keep it up.” . . . New Jerseyite Julie and Betty from Fairfax, Va.: “Thank you for telling it like it is” . . . NYC’s Sydelle: “You and Page Six are the reasons I read The Post.”

Sound it out
So, me, I now thanks for all of your letters and for taking the time to write down. I deeply, gratefully respect listening to from all of you. I plan to present these to my editors to learn. Understand, that regardless of their one or two part-time courses in faculty — if it comes down to them understanding some of your tough phrases — my goodness and kindness and niceness and creativeness and understandingness will enable me to learn it to them.
SO many conferences and court docket instances and paperwork exploding on Capitol Hill currently that security could also be further tight this Thanksgiving and Christmas. From now on each time somebody must unwrap a reward and undo the wrapping, they’ll have to evacuate the building. Also James Comey.
Only in DC, youngsters, solely in DC.
