Students gone wild no longer refers solely to spring break debauchery.

Some have graduated to violence.

A mob of students on Friday clashed with law enforcement officers in one more anti-ICE protest gone dangerous in downtown Los Angeles.

Instead of studying math, historical past or science, the kids shoved, threw objects and swung poles at police, engaged in vandalism, blocked site visitors and induced mayhem on a march from City Hall to the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building.

One federal agent reportedly was injured.

Prosecutors ought to throw the schoolbook on the lawbreakers.

Kids unhinged enough to bodily assault law enforcement need to study to conduct themselves civilly, respectfully and with dignity.

It’s honest to ask the place dad and mom and academics match in this equation, too.

Where are students studying this lack of respect for law enforcement?

Are LA faculties contributing to such outbursts by indoctrinating youngsters in hard-left politics?

What accountability do households and faculties have –– to the children, to public security, and to civil society broadly –– to instruct kids in nonviolence?

Bill Essayli, First Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California, informed The California Post, “The parents, teachers, unions, and administrators facilitating students ditching school to attack federal personnel bear responsibility and should be ashamed of themselves.”

He added, “Imagine how successful our children would be if schools put as much effort into educating them as they do into indoctrinating them.”

The prosecutor mentioned that his workplace has the mob on video, and can arrest and charge those that broke the law –– even when the transgressors are minors.

Good.

If dad and mom and academics received’t train requirements and implement consequences, then we’re glad that federal prosecutors will.
